Festival

The third edition of the Dancing on the Edge Festival, featuring inspiring contemporary dance and theatre performances from the Middle East and North Africa, will take place from 6 to 17 December 2011 in five Dutch cities: Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Groningen and The Hague. In addition to the performances, the festival will present visual arts installations and a film program called Critical Syrian Cinema: Roots of Revolution?

An extensive and interesting series of events, called Arts & Minds, will complement and enrich the program. It will include lectures, discussions, meetings, debates and workshops. This year, artists from Egypt, Jordan, Iran, Iraq, Morocco, Tunisia, Israel, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon and the Netherlands will participate.

Underneath you will find this year's program booklet. Please have a look and maybe you will find something that fancies you.
