Haytham Safia & Osama Mileegi
Haytham Safia is a Utrecht-based Israeli/Palestinian musician and composer. Although he is essentially a classical Arabic musician, his compositions and music are influenced by other musical styles such as Persian, Balkan and jazz. Haytham has released eight CDs.
Haytham is assisted by percussionist Osama Mileegi. He was born in Sudan, where his professional career began at a very young age. Osama graduated from the Conservatory of Khartoum and played in many different bands, both inside and outside his own country.
